Description of design
A double finger ring featuring diamond pave and polished platinum scrollwork, crowned with a detailed horse head with diamond set eyes. The ring is connected to a blue topaz, diamond and platinum bangle by three fine platinum chains featuring spectacle set diamonds and a pear shaped topaz.
Inspirations behind the piece
Inspired by the iconic Russian triple horse drawn sled ‘Troika’ and Russian fairytale motifs, the piece plays on the idea of making a glittering grand arrival on the red carpet in a beautiful horse drawn carriage.
About the designer
Edward has been working as a jewellery designer at Stephen Webster since 2009, after graduating from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Edward’s designs are informed and inspired by the places he has travelled and the various cultures he has experienced.
